We are seeking a hands-on Inventory & Supply Manager to own end-to-end inventory operations for our hardware products. This role is critical to ensuring accurate SKU management, efficient assembly builds, and reliable supply availability as we scale. The ideal candidate has deep experience in NetSuite, hardware BOMs, and managing inventory across manufacturing, assembly, and fulfillment.

We are seeking a hands-on Inventory & Supply Manager to own end-to-end inventory operations for our hardware products. The ideal candidate has deep experience in NetSuite, hardware BOMs, and managing inventory across manufacturing, assembly, and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & SKU Management
- Own creation, maintenance, and optimization of SKUs in NetSuite, including components and finished goods
- Own inventory level updates on D2C website
- Ensure accurate item records, units of measure, costing methods, and item classifications
- Maintain inventory accuracy across warehouses, CMOs, and 3PLs through cycle counts and reconciliations
- Monitor inventory levels and set reorder points to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
- Partner with IT and RMA 3PL to enable “Light Manufacturing” module in NetSuite for Assembly Builds
- Manage assembly builds in NetSuite, including:
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Work Orders
- Build completions and backflush processes
- Coordinate “Like New” accessory build schedules based on demand forecasts and component availability
- Track material consumption, yield, and variances during assembly builds
- Forecast “like new” component demand based on sales projections, partner with Director of Demand Planning on supply planning for finished goods
- Plan and execute purchase orders for components and materials
- Build strong supplier relationships to support scaling production
- Support new product introductions (NPI) from supply chain readiness through launch
- Act as NetSuite subject-matter expert for inventory and supply chain workflows
- Design and document SOPs for inventory, builds, and procurement
- Identify and implement process improvements to support growth and operational efficiency
- Support audits and ensure inventory compliance and traceability
- Partner with VP of IT on executing improvement roadmap
- 7-10 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a hardware startup or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience managing SKUs and assembly builds in NetSuite
- Strong understanding of:
- BOMs, work orders, and manufacturing flows
- Inventory costing and valuation
- Experience managing physical hardware products (electronics, devices, consumer hardware, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, and high-growth environment
- Experience scaling inventory operations in a startup environment
- Experience working with contract manufacturers (CMs) or 3PLs
- Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting
- Inventory accuracy (% variance)
- Build schedule adherence
- Stockout rate
- Inventory turns
- BOM and SKU data accuracy
